Shoot Offs during the Ohio State Sporting Clays Championship:
Shoot offs will be held for:
– Main – HOA – RU – 1st in class
– Prelim – HOA – RU – 1st in class
– FITASC – HOA – RU – 1st in class
All other event ties, which are 50 target events, will be decided by pre-determined stations. (20ga. FITASC, 28ga. FITASC, 5-Stand, 20ga. event, 28ga. event, 410 event, pump, sidexside, and super sporitng)

Open Director Position: The OSCA Board will have an open Director position at the end of the Ohio State Sporting Clays Championship.  Nominations will be taken at our Annual Meeting.  The OSCA Annual Board Meeting is Thursday, August 13, 6:00p in the Pavilion (by traps up front).   Nominations can also be emailed to Joyce Waters ( or Miles Badovick (  This is your chance to play a role in shaping Ohio Sporting Clays.  Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!

Raffle Giveaway : This year, OSCA will be giving away a brand new Beretta 694 Sporting shotgun (12gauge, 30” Stainless Barrels, MSRP $4,500).  There will be a raffle, drawn at Saturday night’s dinner during the Ohio State Sporting Clays Championship.  Only 300 tickets will be sold.  One for $25 or three for $50.  OSCA Board Members will have tickets or you can purchase at Registration or during Saturday evening festivities before drawing.  You do not need to be present to win the gun.

COVID-19 Safety: The OSCA and Cardinal Center want all of our shooters to be safe during the Ohio State Sporting Clays Championship.  We encourage shooters to maintain social distancing, where masks when social distancing is not possible, and wash your hands regularly.  Setups and processes will be different this year, to ensure the safety of the shooters and staff.  Please bear with us as we strive to keep everyone healthy and safe.

National Delegates for Ohio: The deadline for nominations for NSCA National Delegates from each state has been extended by one week due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the additional time needed for prospective candidates to acquire endorsement signatures. Nominations will now be accepted until July 28 at 5 p.m. CDT. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the NSCA website.

Target Minimums Waived for Major Events
Due to the cancellation of many events during the pandemic, the NSCA Executive Council voted to waive all target minimums that would normally apply for classification at State and Regional shoots, as well as the 2020 National Championship. The NSCA rules that correspond are in the online version of the 2020 NSCA Rule Book:
